How the Signs Have Been Coping With the Pandemic

I’m no astrologer, but this is how I imagine the signs of the zodiac are coping with the pandemic. Check out your sun sign, but don’t forget about your rising sun and moon signs as well.

ARIES - MARCH 21-APRIL 19: COURAGEOUS, DETERMINED, CONFIDENT, OPTIMISTIC, HONEST, PASSIONATE, IMPATIENT, MOODY, IMPULSIVE, AGGRESSIVE

  • Hate being restricted, so they’re still struggling with the shut downs and strict rules

  • Impulsively getting a new hobby each month this continues

  • Got really, really into Twitter or Reddit 

TAURUS - APRIL 20-MAY 20: RELIABLE, PATIENT, PRACTICAL, DEVOTED, RESPONSIBLE, STABLE, STUBBORN, POSSESSIVE, UNCOMPROMISING

  • Resistant to change, and this was a BIG change, so that wasn’t fun

  • Taking the time to genuinely reconnect or stay connected with friends near and far

  • Kind of thrived with the stay at home order because they already wanted to stay at home

GEMINI - MAY 21-JUNE 20: GENTLE, AFFECTIONATE, CURIOUS, ADAPTABLE, ABILITY TO LEARN QUICKLY, NERVOUS, INCONSISTENT, INDECISIVE

  • Talkative and personable, so they were FaceTiming A LOT during the quarantine and now they are eagerly planning socially distant meet ups with friends

  • Got really into home workouts to get themselves looking brand new for when the world reopens

  • Generally a very intelligent sign, so the Gemini is definitely following the rules set by the government and CDC without falter

CANCER - JUNE 21-JULY 22: TENACIOUS, HIGHLY IMAGINATIVE, LOYAL, EMOTIONAL, SYMPATHETIC, PERSUASIVE, MOODY, SUSPICIOUS, MANIPULATIVE, INSECURE

  • Once this emotional sign found a way to cope and let go of what they cannot change, they quickly became the support person of their friends and family 

  • Took up journaling or reading self-help books, maybe even bought some crystals 

  • Cried and baked bread

LEO - JULY 23-AUGUST 22: CREATIVE, PASSIONATE, GENEROUS, WARM-HEARTED, CHEERFUL, FUNNY, ARROGANT, STUBBORN, SELF-CENTERED

  • Once they realized the stay at home order meant they couldn’t hang out with their expansive friend circle, they were no longer thriving 

  • As the leader of the zodiac, they organized FaceTime’s and happy hours with everyone they knew. Even that second cousin they haven’t talked to in 7 years

  • Channeled their creativity and picked up a hobby of the arts

VIRGO - AUGUST 23-SEPTEMBER 22: LOYAL, ANALYTICAL, KIND, HARDWORKING, PRACTICAL, SHYNESS, WORRY, OVERLY CRITICAL OF SELF AND OTHERS, ALL WORK AND NO PLAY

  • The fact that we don’t know when this pandemic will be over so they can’t plan out their 2021 is keeping the Virgo on edge 

  • Organized their entire home during the stay at home order 

  • Got really into puzzles, board games and baking banana bread

LIBRA - SEPTEMBER 23-OCTOBER 22: COOPERATIVE, DIPLOMATIC, GRACIOUS, FAIR-MINDED, SOCIAL, INDECISIVE, AVOIDS CONFRONTATION, WILL CARRY A GRUDGE, SELF-PITY

  • Did A LOT of online shopping for all the events they thought they’d be able to attend this summer and fall

  • Got really into their adult coloring book

  • Taking a lot of bubble baths

SCORPIO - OCTOBER 23-NOVEMBER 21: RESOURCEFUL, BRAVE, PASSIONATE, STUBBORN, A TRUE FRIEND, DISTRUSTING, JEALOUS, SECRETIVE

  • Had a feeling from the beginning that this would not be over in 2020

  • Re-downloaded the dating apps just for someone new to talk to

  • Won’t tell anyone what they did all of quarantine 

SAGITTARIUS - NOVEMBER 22-DECEMBER 21: GENEROUS, ADVENTUROUS, IDEALISTIC, FUNNY, PROMISES MORE THAN CAN DELIVER, VERY IMPATIENT

  • Has been nothing but optimistic and open-minded about the pandemic ending since March

  • Bought a bunch of hiking and camping gear and got really into backpacking this summer 

  • Ordered a lot of delivery food during quarantine

CAPRICORN - DECEMBER 22-JANUARY 19: RESPONSIBLE, DISCIPLINED, SELF-CONTROL, GOOD MANAGERS, KNOW-IT-ALL, UNFORGIVING, CONDESCENDING, EXPECTING THE WORST

  • Has been pessimistic about the whole thing since they first heard about in on the news back in February

  • As the responsible sign, they dutifully abide by all the rules and ensure others do too

  • Loving working from home because it means they can continue working hard, but in pajamas

AQUARIUS - JANUARY 20-FEBRUARY 18: PROGRESSIVE, ORIGINAL, INDEPENDENT, HUMANITARIAN, RUNS FROM EMOTIONAL EXPRESSION, TEMPERAMENTAL, UNCOMPROMISING, ALOOF

  • Coping by simply not thinking about it 

  • Took the pandemic as the perfect opportunity to ghost the person they were seeing 

  • Spent a lot of time researching local charities and definitely considered fostering a dog
